 Very good but overpriced My title says it all. The program works excellent, it even has proper handling for CTS/DTR and Carrier Detect.It also pushes the data throuh at maximum speed (when creating a virtual-only com port), even for programs that were originally designed vor very low speed.Last but definitely not least, it even works inside a DOS box for 20-year old DOS programs (I tested it with a BBS host, works perfect!)Only one problem: It is too expensive. Cut the price to $50 and I will buy it!
Ehhhh not bad. would be more useful if it was cross-platform.

When analysing Excel controlled serial communication this monitor freezes the pc completely , the same as with the free serial port monitor 3.31.
A must for embedded developers I do embedded development and use a serial port for an interface. Not only can you monitor any port while you have it open with another application (and monitor it at the driver level), but you can break in and slip in additional input too. This tool has a very decent interface, is quite intuitive to use and saves me gobs of time. Not haveing to jumper one port to another to watch it with some clunky interface is something akin to luxury to me. The ability to break in and send as well makes me feel downright spoiled! I ...
Excellent very good, resolved my problem in form easy and fast
No help finding a process locking my port I downloaded the software looking for an easy way to determine the application that was locking my serial port (Type 633 error). The software gave me all of the usual suspects (eg., svchost), but no info on the application that was the root cause of the problem.I ended up using the Windows Task Manager to selectively kill non-interactive applications until I found the right one. That was ugly and time-consuming, but it worked.
